Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This includes roads, bridges, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop: Create detailed designs for civil engineering projects, considering safety, functionality, and environmental impact.
- Project Management: Plan and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Site Investigation: Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and others).
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice and solve problems on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and structural standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
- Coordination: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and ensure construction quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Prepare and present public reports, such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or property descriptions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead a team.
